Kara Swanson To All Instructors
Kara Swanson is an experienced educator with a diverse background in teaching across multiple levels, including homeschool, private school, and university settings. Kara has taught a wide range of courses in a homeschool co-op setting, including history, geography, economics and civics. Additionally, she has served as an adjunct instructor at the college level and taught at the Alliance Academy in Quito, Ecuador. She currently works as a substitute teacher at Concordia Academy in Roseville.
In addition to her teaching roles, Kara has contributed to educational content development with The Good and the Beautiful and The Well-Trained Mind Press, ensuring the quality of homeschool history curriculum for elementary and middle school students. Kara's commitment to education is also reflected in her long tenure as a home educator, where she developed customized educational plans for her four children. With a strong academic foundation in International Relations from Bethel University and the University of Chicago and a love for history, she brings a unique perspective to her teaching endeavors.
